I just can't get enough of those lush pink Magnolia Blossoms especially when there is a bright blue sky to brighten the mood

Privately I have a 7.2 Megapixel Samsung S760 digital camera wich works good in bright daylight and makes aceptable videos. But has difficulties with low light and only a 5times optical zoom.
This special photo shot I made with the camera I normally only use at work to dokument accidents. It's a Panasonic DMC-TZ6 Lumix with 12times zoom, 12 Megapixel and leica opbjective and HD video
Worked fantastic to capture even the upper branches of the magnolia trees presently blooming in the garden at our workplace

I only have a 12megapixel Fujifilm Finepix Z20. It has a 5 times optical zoom too but when I'm using the video camera on it, I can hear it when it zooms in and out and that is annoying since it can be heard on the final video. The photos it takes are ok though.

Oh Oh you can actually hear the camera zoom on the videos ? That's not good... Otherwise there's probaly not too much difference between my Samsung and your Fuji
Still after having had a tryout with the much better Panasonic Lumix I'll buy myself such a camera in my upcomming easter vacation

Yeah I didn't know until I used the camera. My older cameras didn't have a zoom feature when I used the video camera on them.
