Description Portrait practice form a book on drawing heads. The likeness is off as I didn't check the proportions enough, but I like how it looks anyway. The book uses a technique which is all about drawing with tone rather than line, so I didn't really use line in this and just shaded it with shapes which i think works rather nicely. Will probably use a pencil next time though rather than mechanical pencil as I think the technique would work alot better with the soft edge fo a pencil, though sometimes that can look too soft, so I'll see how it goes.
