Description I don't own the photograph, I got it from this site .

Over 130 years ago on Lookout Mountain in Chattanooga, Tennessee. There was a little 3 foot narrow gauge railroad that ran for 1.2 miles from Sunset Rock station to the Point Hotel on the cliffside. The line was called the Mt. Lookout Railroad and it was built by the developers of the first incline railway in Chattanooga and the Point Hotel. It also connected with the Chattanooga & Lookout Mountain Railroad (better known as the "Broad" Gauge) at the Lookout Inn.

The line was completed in 1887 and was used to take passengers to the Point Hotel. It was run by two locomotives, a 0-4-0ST (or an 0-4-2ST) Saddle Tank engine from H.K. Porter Inc. (#1) and a 0-6-2 Saddle Tank engine from Pittsburgh Locomotive Works (#2). In the summer of 1894, engine #1 was helping a track gang with repairs to the bridge along the mountain side when a beam feel out of place and sent #1 tumbling down the mountain side and eventually hit a tree! It's bell was then donated to a church. I have no idea if the locomotive is still down the mountain where it landed or not, I got the information from an Images of Rail book.

I have no idea what happened to engine #2 when the line closed down in 1899. It may have been sold to a sugar plantation in another country since locomotives it's size where mostly used on sugar plantations.

no it's #1 who fell down the mountain, just like Godred. #2 was probably scrapped.
