I really dig the dark, stormy background; the darkness behind the subject and the (nicely done) shadows on it add a very ominous feeling to the whole image...the snarling helps too.

Your coloration is very good, I love the dark coloration. The orange color on the left side looks like the glow from fire which is in the near from him. Thats very great. <3
