You got perfectly the character^^ I love it!!!
And I highly recommend you: PLAY the Borderlands series. If you liked the story, you will really enjoy them, specially if you can play co-op with someone else. Furthermore, there are a lot of references to the former games, and some characters (for instance, Brick and Mordecai are playable characters in the first game, and important NPCs in Borderlands 2). So PLEEEAAAAAASE, play the other games!!

Wow, this looks incredible!
I loved the game so much ♥ They better make a second season, because I don't want it to end like this!
The intro songs are the best and I'm listening to all of them for a few weeks in a row currently. And whenever I hear thát song, god, it reminds me of that sad part. All the feels D:

Oh man. The Loaderbot eye in the lower left corner. My emotions!
This game was absolutely amazing. And I can recommend Borderlands 2, as well. It definitely has a better plot than the first Borderlands game. Especially if you get the Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep DLC for Borderlands 2.

I like the updated version even better. I don't think it's too much. Also, not sure if this was deliberate or not, but actually this portrait of Rhys looks a lot like Troy Baker, Rhys's voice actor. It's a perfect blend of Rhys's in-game features, and Troy Baker's real-life features.
I'm not much of a shooter game fan either. The only shooter games I really like are the Borderlands games. The first Borderlands game is very good, but the story wasn't really the focus. At the time it was made, the gameplay was pretty revolutionary, so the game mechanics were the focus, and the story was really just there to hold everything together. At this point, the graphics and some of the game mechanics feel sort of dated. That said, the Secret Armory of General Knox (which is where Athena's character is introduced) was very, very good, and the humor and story became more of a focus, and more similar to Borderlands 2.

Yay!
I'm little mad coz for some uknown reasons when I'm uploading art here there's a loss with vivid colouring. Black should be a little bit more... well, black. And colours more... cleaner. Pfft. It doesn't look right here, not as it should but.. eh. Well.
It was not deliberate, not at all... but I exactly know what u talking about - in the middle of paiting (and I swear, I didn't used any of Troy's photos for reference!) the same thought occured me. And I was "What the hell(ios.. lol ) maaaaaan, I'm SO NOT paiting u, why... how... srsly, what's goin' on It's crazy It just... happened Maybe Rhys's features was created after Troy? SO weird
Ah, so in that case I'll definately drop first game without touching it and will go stright after second one. There's Pre-sequel also, right? Did u played it? I'm wondering what I should start as first: pre-sequel or second game. I only now that the plot of second Borderlands i after Pre-Sequel, but was launched later and I'm not sure what point in here i should follow. The chronology of the game or the date of release (in the latter, maybe there are some reference to events from B2 and I should know them first...?) Any advice here? ANYWAY, thank u soooo much thanks for shedding light on this matter for me Much appreciated!

Definitely play Borderlands 2 first. The Pre-Sequel is actually told as a story in flashback (much like Tales from the Borderlands), so the first scene of the game actually starts after the events of Borderlands 2.
Here's the chronology of the Borderlands games:
Borderlands
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel (everything except opening and ending scenes)
Borderlands 2
Tales from the Borderlands (episodes 1 - 3)
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel (opening and ending scenes)
Tales from the Borderlands (episodes 4 & 5)
This video does a good job of taking you through the first Borderlands game in under 4 minutes, so you don't need to play it in order to fully enjoy Borderlands 2: youtu.be/hRZ5MNdifXc

I know of Borderlands movie being in the works, and seeing as telltales game style is very movie-ish they may just settle with that instead. Gaming movies worry me though because they are usually low budget and rely on fans to buy it. Here's to hoping gearbox are going to make something worthwhile though ^.^
