To you I write this, the words I wish I could've said before. You are a summer's dream that I cannot wake from. Yet I'm awake and still dreaming. You turn my desires into reality. It's plain to see you divide the black from the white and paint it with different colors. With you, all I hear is how I feel. And when you read this do you understand me, too?
All of Spring you were a blur. I tried my best to put a face on the image of different conversations and sceneries. I guess I wasn't ready for you. And then one summer day you decided to be seen. Like a mysterious goddess you walked easily into my dream, and when I didn't answer you left notes for me to read. And with each detailed note I understood you. I awoke and there you were. The most wonderful thing I could ever dream of, was still with me when I woke.
A Goddess you are. Your pretty face, a hidden smile. Your childish heart obscured by a deviant mind that so closely resembles mine. You could possess any soul you wanted, but for a few summer months you chose to be with me.
And I shared secrets and laughs with you, and I sung songs for you. When I spoke to you I heard the person I was, and when you spoke I saw the person I could someday be. To look at you only inspired a passion for me to be so much more. A few words you might say, but a few could never satisfy the dreams I have for you.
I wake each day and find I need you. I recall the memories, the dreams, but I fear I may forget without you. Hope we meet again.
