I went whale watching today in Telegraph Cove. This is Tsitika's son Blackney, aka A38. Large male, classic waves in his tall, 6 FOOT dorsal.Related content

Oh, he's just so lovely. I love how his dorsal, despite being so wavy, has managed to stay straight as he's aged. Another beautiful shot, gorgeous colours!

Blackney at one point was within about 15 feet of the boat, and only then does it dawn on you how large he really is, with a SIX FOOT dorsal.

he was very calm, as he looked at us and stayed in close. You could hear the clicks pinging the sides as he was fishing.
