She's beautiful! Does species aggression happen often? Seems like the only time I see bald eagles is when they've been rescued but they're missing a wing, or severely injured in one wing. There are two like that at the National Aviary, two like that at Akron Zoo, and one like that in San Francisco

Yes is does unfortunatly, but thats just nature. Bald Eagles are an agressive species, and routinely squabble over food they find. Beauty and the beast lost her left alula, or thumb in the fight with the other bird.
