Wow! I love the detail work here- especially on the eyes, hair and mouth! How long did it take? What mediums did you use for a picture with this awesome quality?

Wow- that's a long time! And graphite.. huh. Looks like the lines you got are really clear and smooth for graphite. I've always had to worry about splotching when I use graphite. Seems like you've got a quality set of pencils.

That's really cool. I kinda figured that the quality of the pencils is the key to the smoothness (apart from the skill of the user). Thanks for the tip- derwent graphic pencils⦠I'll keep that in mind.
And oh gosh, I don't know if DeviantArt would be able to handle the abominations of mine. I'd honest to god worry about my sanity if I posted anything other than my written work.
