The piece is absolutely beautiful. From her positioning on the stairs to the water at her feet everything looks perfectly placed. Recoloring everything to a grayish blue/cyan really adds to the feel of her giving up on hope.
And I kind of agree with violettQueen, it's romantic even in it's depression.
