Oh awesome! So peaceful and serene - where is this place?! I'd love to take a vacation here!
I have two suggestions if you'll have them:
-First, the fisherman's shadow seems a little too clear for the scene. Try blurring the edges of the shadowi so its a slightly less defined.
-Second, the fishing line seems like a solid black line. First, try making it a bit thinner (by 1 or 2 pixels) and then try using the smudge tool to carefully smudge the fishingline so it seems smoother and lighter. Right now it draws a lot of unecessary attention because of being solid black.
Otherwise this scene is amazing!! Great work!!

Thank you - I was bothered by both of those items, and although I blurred the shadow some, it can obviously take more. Will go and amend

One more thing: I don't remember if it was like this before, but the dock seems to have a very dark shadow. Try lightening the dock's shadow. Also, remember that the fisherman's shadow would not be very visible on the shore, only on the dock.

Thank you once again - my own personal tutor!! Amazing how one can find lots of photoshop techniques in tutorials but not advice about composition and details.
The fisherman's shadow did stop on the dock already but now I've lightened the shadow of the dock.

I was wondering about that - I was going to say you made the fisherman's shadow way too long and dark, then I realized it was the shadow on the dock
