Chapter 3. Moon Reincarnation Witch by Deency
Deep within a crystal layered cave, there lived a gentle witch who created potions with various ingredients ranging from flowers to rare gems. She was known as the serene ruler of the forest and its lake. A graceful and peace-loving witch, she was merciless to anyone who harmed her forest, animal friends, or soulmate. Within her crystal cavern, flickers of light from her pot illuminated the crystals upon the walls, creating rainbows and shimmering pops of color. Air smelling of lavender and roses, the Moon Reincarnation Witch shakingly tried to replicate the smell of the one whom she held dear.
“Soon we’ll be together . . . please wait for me, my love.”
Day in and day out, the memories of her love haunted her. She had to move quickly. Her dearly beloved, the Evening Star Unicorn, had gone missing. Reaching into her sleeve, she pulled out a single hair belonging to her beloved. She clutched the single blonde to blue to pink gradient hair and held it close to her heart before releasing it in the pot. A poof of smoke filled the area, and the Moon Reincarnation Witch waved her arm over the cauldron to reveal the reflection of her potion. Before her was the face of the Demon Lord.
“W-what could he want with her?” she stuttered as she stepped back, clinging to the stability of her staff. Frazzled, the Moon Witch began to take deep breaths. The Demon Lord’s lair was far too powerful for her to enter. She needed to contact one of the royal members for their aid. Packing her belongings, she set towards an old and dear friend, the Hanfu Princess.
