Finally finished and healed. This is a freehand piece started about 9 years ago. Due to both of us having a non-stationary nature, it took some time to finish. I'm very happy with the resultsRelated content

This is truly amazing. I appreciate you going as close to the nipples as you could, god knows it's a tender area. Still, I adore the way the light is in the flowers, the only thing I could possibly say is remember the nature of a flower, it's skin is pretty thin and the edges wouldn't hold the dark that well. Still it's a beautiful piece.

In creating a piece of art bending the laws of reality and nature help give us dramatic affect. Working in tattoo you are painting on a living surface that will continue to change for the lifetime of the canvas/person/piece. I enjoy my subtlety plenty, but for a strong, long-lasting tattoo, sometimes one must go for contrast.
