#471 Glaceon/Glacia (グレイシア) The "Fresh Snow Pokemon"By controlling its body heat, it can freeze the atmosphere around it to make a diamond-dust flurry.
It's supposed to be Route 217, that snowbound route containing the Icy Rock. Kudos to ~zeaeevee for being the first to notice~
Played around a bit more with the background than usual. The background by itself can be found here

oh yeah, they seem to have played around more with actually icing their glaceon over, whereas I had mostly stuck with powdery snow.
This is an older piece of mine though I do like playing around with snowstorms. Such lovely weather to draw.

I've somewhat been planning to try and draw an iced over Pokemon... But I'm not really sure how to do that for irl. I've come up with a few ideas:
1. I lightly erase parts of the Pokemon as if a thin sheet of ice has formed over then.
2. I draw little light blue specs all over the Pokemon for partial freezing.
I'm not really sure how I would irl draw a Pokemon frozen in thick ice though. You got any idea?

If you mean something akin to completely frozen over then I can only suggest drawing them normally, outlining the ice around them, colouring your subject lightly, and then colouring over all of that with a light grey/blue.

im guessing this glaceon just evolved from an eevee (points to ice stone in the bg)
very cute and nicely done.
though i cant help feel there's something a little off about glaceon. im not sure what it is but something just feels a little off about it. but the bg itself is really nice

D'aww, thanks so much! 8D The grass is my favorite element in this entire picture. XD But, you know... it's supposed to be route... 47? There's the "Icy Rock" in the grass that allows trainers to evolve their Eevee into a Glaceon.
