because I did really want to draw marauders, but all my mind and ideas are kind of bubbled into The Legend of Korra and The Last airbender.. so I figured I could do a crossover.Obviously, Sirius turned into fire bender, James into an earth bender, Remus in water bender, and Peter is obviously a non-bender *well, he wasn't as skilled as his friends, so I figured it would make sense*

Honestly I though James was a Airbender. Because of how good he is in Quidditch and all.
And that Peter was a not so skilled Earthbender.

Originally I agreed with everyone saying James should have been the air bender, but now I like the idea of him being an earth bender much more. Think about it- James was the rock that held all the Marauders together. He was the solid foundation and once he left, they crumbled.

If you think in terms of nobility your choice in bending/nation makes a lot of sense.
Sirius: comes from an old rich family that is well respected= fire nation a rich and prosperous nation
James: comes from an old rich family that is not as respected as it used to be= earth kingdom strong but eventually brought down
Remus: is not really respected in the community due to his being a werewolf= water nations weren't really highly looked upon in avatar
Peter: less than skilled at much other than being a rat= non-benders don't really play that much of a role(except for sokka and a few others) until Korra

This is really good and very accurate, but I agree with Kyra2286, James would have been better as an Airbender, still brilliant work, I've put it as one of my favourites, in my marauders folder (that's right I have a marauder's folder, I love them that much, especially RemusΒ Β )

I think of James as more of an airbender. He's sort of carefree, and Quidditch is all about air and flying.

I personally think Peter is also a earthbender- but he keeps it hidden from his friends. (Like didn't he completely destroyed a street full of muggles- killing 12- to frame Sirius? That gave me the image of a Earthbender).Β

Sirius reminds me of Zuko because of his eyes, and a genderbent Sirius reminds me of Azula because of his grin.
