I drew this for LJ's EvilLittleDog as part of the FMA Ladyfest community challenge. She requested giftart or fic of Izumi and Winry with the prompt "The Stories You Could Tell." This is what I drew.I drew this over a month ago, and I might like to tinker further with the cel shading and a few other bits, but mostly I'm happy it came out as well as it did.
Huge thanks to LJ's Bob Fish, who redlined my art and helped enormously at making the poses work.

Oh, sensei, it's so beautimous! The poses are SO fabulous (Izumi's propped up arm looks soooo hard, I would never even attempt, and it came out smashingly!) Your bgs are so fun XD! I really love how they look, Ed's face is hilarious, and Winry especially looks positively adorable! I really REALLY like their hair, and the contoured outlines! Uber impressive. You're too cool, sensei!

I know someone who recently noted the variety of abuse of male characters by cute females (Ed by Winry, Inuyasha by Kagome, etc.) and how we think it's so funny...but how would we feel if the male were bashing the female with a wrench or crashing her to the ground with magic beads and a command of "SIT"! It's a valid point, and yet it was fun to make Izumi and Winry chat about it as part of their good feelings about Edo.
