I love the sense of movement and how much you embraced the loose textures in the background, and played up the contrast between background and foreground. Can I ask what the dark pigments right behind the flowers are?

Thank you. If I recall correctly, I mixed the darks from dioxazine purple and burnt umber.

Yes, I rather like it; you can pep it up further with some quinacridone magenta.

YAS.....I have them in my Garden....they are also called Forest Hyacinths around here and they can be found in forests near my place....I have seen them many times going there....

I didn't like them when I was a child, but they've grown on me. There are some new breed you sometimes see in gardens here, shades of white, lilac and lighter blue.
