I love the lighting in this shot. I guess it could be debated if it's really a portrait or not, but i couldn't really find another category to put it in. Just one of my favorites.Related content

Lol, it actually is digital. Shot with my old sony digital camera. I'm not really sure how digital photographs vary from "Real" ones. But i'm glad you enjoyed the colors. I did a photoshop rework where I grayscaled everything except my skin and then I increased the color saturation a bit after shifting the hue and it came out with that nice brownish, maroon tone.

Egh, I just love the lighting, angle, pose, and expression of this one. Everything, really. You make a wonderful phorographer, as well as an excellent model. I'm adding you to my watch list.

I really appriciate the admiration. The whole model thing came out of always having more photo ideas than willing models, sometimes when an idea pops into your head, you don't want to wait the time it takes to ask someone to do it and wait for a willing participant, so I just started posing in my own photos, lately i'm having much better luck with filling those slots with other models.

I'm sure, also, it's easier to do the shot yourself sometimes, rather than try to explain to a model what you're going for. Sometimes, at least. ....maybe?

I like this one a lot man. The look on your face is very genuine. Framing is excellent. And I love the it is from a downward angle. It reminds me of every night before I try to go to sleep, laying there thinking over everything going on in my life...
