ah, I'm sorry I didn't write much for this one.

If you're still interested, it's newspaper, acrylic, ink, colored pencil, graphite, cardboard, and gesso on canvas paper.

there are two works in progress there.

I started with a blank canvas. Glued on cardboard and newspaper. Then I gessoed the whole thing over and added a layer of blue acrylic.

Then... I kind of stared at the canvas and thought "What the fuck am I doing.."
Then went back to making something out of it with inks, gesso, colored pencil... and other random stuff I find at the school supply room.

Oh that is so cool! I think I need to make more use of mixed media to create something badass! Unfortunately, my school art department is quite bad, I've spent 100's on my own oils, acrylics, pencils ETC (Oh, and most of which have run out by now)
ACTUALLY, our supply room is epic but they lock it and pretend nothings in there when theres like heaps of acrylics so I don't know why they're hiding it from it. Pffft!
But yeah it's awesome

It's like a cross between impressionism and modern contemporary art, absolutely beautiful. I really love it, the mixed media, the contrasting colours and sketchy lines give this such a rawness, incredibly impressive, you should be proud of your self.
