Ahh, chu make me blush ; - ; I know this blinking is realistic, but I've come to like the smoothness of the blinking I have done in the other pixel animations I have done, but still this one makes more sense because people blink really fast so X"

I mean - you can do whatever you prefer, you're the artist and it's your style. If you preferred the slower blinking then do that, it's really whatever you, as the creator of the magic, prefer~.
