Finally freedom! I'm working in this drawing for months...No, it's not like I have spent all my time in that. I have add some detail one day then a few more in other day and kept this slowly pace with long pausesAnd it's finally done! Yay!

Well, I think the slow pace payed off, or at least on this one! The sky has such a beautiful color palette, dawn has never looked this good haha. And I like the movement on the girl, as if she's running towards an emergency (her worried face tells this story to me, at least). Really liking the reflection on the tree in the background too, nice detail there!

Trying new things always takes more time
Actually when I started this drawing the image I had in mind required a better technique than I had at the time, so I had to gradually complete it while studying new techniques. This pose in one of these things.

Well, that's even more impressive to hear! I imagine it can be difficult enough to work on something for such a long time, but on top of that trying different techniques can impact the working flow, since whenever I learn something I get the urge to rework the entire piece that I'm working on at least haha.

Oh I understand you! When I look at my WIPs I feel the urge to redraw them too. Yet I also want to treasure the effort that I have put on them and leave them like this...What a dilemma!
