Time is the most ruthless and unpredictable process of all.
It takes and presents, mortifies and bestows life, encourages and punishes, it overthrew kings and elevated commoners, it compared mountains to the ground and flooded forests, devoured stones and iron, destroyed hopes, but gave others in return.
Over time, you cannot agree, you cannot beg him, everything obeys him, including fate.
A tree can grow in the place of ruin, just as after death a new life can appear.
On the ruins of an old, musty and barren land, by the unpredictable will of time, something beautiful can bloom.
P.S. This is my last drawing this year.
