Description "An unknown hero stands before the vast desolation of a city shrouded in fog, faced with the dark wispers of ghosts from an unforgettable past and the innocent who yurn for the end to the eternal night that hangs above..."
I dont know what the heck I just wrote, but that just sounded cool!
Piece heavly inspired by Biomega from Tsutomou Nihei; The most kick ass Manga artist out thier! Although I do wonder what happened to him because I havent heard any thing about any new works from am in a long time... hmm... how sad...
Drawing done in watered down inks and white gouache. Any critics are appreciated.

As far as I know the mentioned author is still producing stuff. His late works have been really short comics but there are some long range stuff also but sadly not anything as superior like Biomega, Blame! or Abara. 2009 he started this new series Knights of Sidonia [link]
I think you can find more by yourself if you haven't already found something.
But yeah the art piece is really good, definetly has the touch of Nihei's style. Really appreciate the shadowing and how you made the atmosphere

it's so fascinating to create these HUGE buildings and this atmosphere with mainly using black and a bit of white!! Tsutomu Nihei's a god^^

Agreed! There is just some thing really epic about all the fog and all those massive endless buildings that people either hate or love at first sight. As for Nihei, hes not a god, just a one work wonder!

He is a one work wonder because only BLAME! is the best of all the other works. Other manga's that Nihie has done are Biomega, Noise and Abra. Perhapes Abra is the second best...
I have seen a little bit of the art book but I dont have it! Niether am I able to read japanese, but there is a translation of the art book online.
