Description Well, Apollo still won't decide what he wants to be, but here he seems to want to be a pheonix. I'm beginning to think he's a shape shifter of sorts. I'm still not sure if this is done: it still feels a bit transparent to me, kind of blending into the background too much. Let me know what you think.

Figure hand drawn with pencil, scanned in, fire effect in Photoshop. Approx 4hrs.

That is fine: I do like it. But in the future please let me know that you will be borrowing my work, and please don't try to make a profit off of these without sharing it with me.

Thank you, though, I feel honored that someone likes my work enough to borrow it!

wow O.O that's awesome. I think shapeshifter would be pretty awesome, especially if he chose things like phoenixes and such.

A most clever use of the smudge tool! The speckled texture brushes really lend interesting elements to the otherwise smooth, flame-like form of the lines. The subtle inclusion of some omnipresent light source helps with the volume and definitely keeps it from being strictly 2-d. Overall, it creates a lot of visual interest, over a wonderfully executed form!

Lovely work.
