Origins: Her original form was that of a three-tailed, black fox monster until she was transformed into a human by a young arcane scientist.
Personality: Nephryst is a curious and mischievous girl, who who loves to mess with people. Her overall goal is to have fun and to learn, whether it's at people's expense or not.
Hobbies: Reading, stealing books (and money to buy books,) exploring, messing with Rona.
Weapon: - Any Weapon
Sub Weapons: Any Weapon
Playing Style: Her regular sword transforms into the weapons of her different allies at the time, with the ability to learn their skills over a long period of time as remains in the party with the rest of the characters. She can cycle quickly between weapons and combine styles of other characters into her own.
Element(s): Earth, Water and Light

Added a bit more to it. The focus was the scaling bit for the height chart. I'll start doing that from now on, since I'm seeing it really isn't clear what her age is by her proportions otherwise. I don't want her to continue to be mistaken for an adult. q.q
Also, added just a bit more color and more depth to the coat. Referenced some of her other costumes as well...to fill the space, maybe. It was mostly about the height thing...XD

Thanks. Though it's not about her age so much as how people were drawing her, since they didn't know at the time. I've decided ultimately it doesn't matter, given that she's as old as she was when she was a monster, but her personality sort of resets to where she is when she becomes human. Pinning an age on her would put her at less than one and that's...well that's kinda like Astaroth being a 4 year old. Which technically he is but...LOOK at him.

I had no idea it was an old reference.
But to me personally, every art work will always be fresh to me upon
each visit. It's like revisiting a favorite movie or a story book. I maybe
well familiar with the content by then, but the experience of the art world,
will always seem refreshing to me, compared to the deterioration of our real world.
Any dimension outside of time itself is unaffected. The way I understood about anything being
old, is when something is on the verge of dying. But your works and everyone elses are timeless.
The material on which the image was put on display may age, but the concept of the character
and story lives on in your thoughts and passion, and in the memory of people who knows about her.
Art exist to make a lasting impression. Even long after the emerging of new ideas, every concept in the
future was inspired by the creations that preceded them, and so the ideas and existence of inspiration
lives on in continuity. ...Something like that, hehe.

I've certainly come to enjoy drawing a wider variety of body types, usually with her type being the starting point. Usually when someone thinks of a female game heroine, they don't think of somebody shaped like her, so it'll be fun turning that on its head and having her be the one kicking butt. :3

This is a very nice visual layout of the character. Even the background color scheme
compliments her, down to the text of her name. These are great especially if you ever
wanted to put together an illustration book, this would be the ideal layout page.

Thank you! It's all meant to correspond with the type of magic she uses. This page will definitely be expanding again, though. Something more like what Eiyan's reference sheet is like, where the clothing is broken down into parts. I'll also be including some sprites when I get around to making them.

Ah I just learned a little bit more about her character. I was kind of close in my interpretations. ^^
But that's the fun of interpreting. I suspected she was sly in some manner. Hehe. ^^
I wasn't too sure about the shadowy thing around her being her alternate form. At first look it could mean
many things, like a summoning of another creature or something. Interesting character bio and design overall. Nicely done.

I feel so inspired now. At the moment I'm currently writing a light novel,
which I also plan to add some illustrations and eventually do a graphic novel version.
Drawing has proven very difficult since I'm in an apartment where I get easily distracted.
The easiest thing I can do is write and do some photo-manipulations, if I'm lucky enough.
It's a long story. But one day, hopefully soon, I'll be just as active in the drawing department too. 
So much to do and hardly enough time in a day. I'll figure something out. ^^

Wow she's beautiful! I love the design! Her fox form vaguely reminds me of a Viera from Final Fantasy, probably because of the ears, dark skin, and light/colorful outfit.

Well story-wise it would've been something the scientist that summoned her human form would've had made for her.
In terms of where the design came from, a friend redesigned her from what I had originally for her, which was this:

If you've got outfit ideas you'd like to draw, I'd recommend joining the contest going on around her now, or at least checking out the group if you wanna watch the entries come in. People have been thinking up all sorts of ideas for her so far, and it's nice to see them.
