I am NOT a visual artist. Perhaps because of this, I wonder and marvel at those who can create wonderful and marvelous feelings in me. So if you don't mind my  asking (and purely speculating) on this :   I think this started as a photo (the proportions and 'angles' seem to me less what an artist might choose and more in  keeping what only the gods (or higher powers, YAHWEH , ALLAH, BAHAMA, etc.l) can do. As you see. I'm pretty casual about (though not ignorant of) formal  religions. But in all seriousness I think art, at it's best, can access the true majesty, enchantment and real magic we feel in our best moments.                                                                           Oh crap ; I got all artsy-fartsy, "new-agey" on ya there !! more to the point : am I right in thinking this is something of a "photo-manip" ? In the end it makes no difference, of course, it's fine work, and absolutely amazing if you made it  out of "whole cloth", so to speak.       Yours,   Arfgard
