Description
Her head hung low as she crept through the town. She dared not stray from her path, staring ahead, not willing to look at those she felt were staring at her... that is until something forced her attention away from the direct path back home.
"Hello, Lady Lavender!" a voice called, to which she didn't stop or respond, until the same voice called again. "Wait up!"
She stopped and turned her head towards the unfamiliar voice.
A tan quad ran up to her. "Hi!" he chimed, prompting her to respond. She took a moment to process that someone was actually going out of their way to talk to her.
"Hello?" She forced out. Her voice was low. Talking quitely had become habit due to the feeling of constantly stepping on eggshells.
"I'm so glad I finally get to say hi!" he said, only confusing her more, which was evident to him by her expression. "I've seen you around a couple times, but by the time I went to go say hi you kinda just.... vanished? So it's nice to finally get to talk to you!"
Heather was very confused about the whole ordeal. This random wyngro wanted to talk to her.... for a while? She wasn't too sure why and she wasn't quite sure if she trusted him. He seemed friendly enough, but then again, so did he, so she could never know who to trust anymore.
"I'm Poco by the way." He said chipperly.
Heather stayed quiet, not entirely sure what to say now.
"Can I ask why I don't see you around more, Lady Lavender?" Poco questioned. "If not that's fine, just thought I'd ask, because it's kinda weird that I don't see you around as much in such a small town.
Heather stood in silence for a moment before speaking again. "I have to go..." she said softly before turning back to her path home.
"Wait! Lady Lavender! Can I at least know where I can see you again?" Poco shouted, following her a bit.
"No... Please don't follow me..." Heather said, feeling like she was screaming, but realistically was only about as loud as a normal wyngro speaking. Tears welled in her eyes, but she figured she'd be safer.... or maybe she figured he'd be safer..... She couldn't even be sure herself....
Poco stopped and watched her walk away. What could have happened to make someone so...sad.... He'd have to try and cheer up this gro.... if he could ever talk to her again....
