Ah-haaa... a newbie.
Okay doke - since I don't wanna be writing entire essays, lemme just give you the condensed version instead.
SMT aka "Shin Megami Tensei" is a series of JRPGs by the company known as Atlus; and is basically a batshit insane universe filled with casual god slayers & universe busters, amongst other things..!
In virtually all the mainline titles, your main protagonists can grow so ridiculously powerful that they are basically able to punch both 'God' (or the closest thing to it..) & Satan in the face; and somehow get away with it!
Regarding our boi Hito here; he is a former human who was transformed into a half-demon; or "Demi-Fiend", if you will, then forced to survive a nightmarish post apocalyptic Hell-on-Earth known as the "Vortex World"; a place completely infested with all manner of demons & other nastiness.. where, pretty much everything was out to brutally murder him in some gruesome fashion!
Fast forward thorough a whole bunch of crazy shit (Waaay too much for me to even THINK of writing here..), Hito eventually (depending on the player's actions) ends up becoming a full fledged demon, after which he then goes on to kill a living Avatar of 'god' - as in, THE God..!
Thing is, he doesn't so much 'kill' it.. rather, he utterly ERASES it from existence! This, in turn, leads to a full on Multiversal collapse; an event that basically reduces Hito's particular branch of reality to primordial darkness...
Incidentally, Hito somehow survives this event COMPLETELY unscathed.
After this, he then throws down with Lucifer; aka the mutherfreakin' DEVIL, himself; then, after proving his strength, gets recruited to act as the general of Hell's armies; THEN, together with Big Louie, they march onward to take the fight to Heaven itself.
(Or, at least, this was how it originally went, till Atlus - for reasons best known to themselves - decided to start f*cking with the series' continuity.. although, the less said about THAT, the better!)
Course, all this is barely scratching the surface of the SMT craziness... if you truly want to know more, I'd suggest doing your own research.
Regardless, unless ol' Hector here has any feats that match up with taking on both 'God' AND Satan - as well as surviving an entire multiverse imploding on his FACE - reckon imma still gonna have to put my money on Hito...

Oh - one other thing.. did I mention this kid can take bona fide gods & demons, and basically turn them into glorified Pokemon..?
