Update: Yes, I just crossed out all the Vana's and added a Bienie next to them On the ref I can't do that (yet), so wherever Vana is written, pretend it's Bienie

Reference for my alternative sona, Freek. x) (And yes, Vana Bienie is STILL and shall ALWAYS be my fursona. This is like, a side one, I love Vana Bienie and Freek equally. xD)
I introduced them to you guys here and never said anything about them after that. (But =griffsnuff has drawn him - she was doing animations of characters and we had to comment with refs of them, look what she made! )

TL;DR AHEAD
But anyway, time for a reference sheet. xD [ am referring to Freek as "they" in most cases]
I created him around October-November when I was just fed up with most things. Sometimes you have those days when things just don't move or go the way you want etcetera And well, I tried to doodle Vana Bienie and every time I tried I h a t e d how it looked. And then I doodled other things. One of them being Freek. x)
I liked it - they were simple to draw, it was nice to have a winged character, and I started to doodle them with Vana Bienie eventually. Especially when I felt lonely. I kept them.
But I didn't want to introduce Freek to deviantArt.
Why?
Because at that time, I was just unhappy with how people misunderstood Vana Bienie in so many ways. Before her I've always had male sonas because the "feeling" of a male/neutral character just appeals to me. But sometimes people just see Vana Bienie too often as a girl and see everything I say about her personality in a typical girl's way, while in fact, I really prefer keeping her actions, personality and pretty much her appearance as well gender neutral, no matter what her actual gender is. And I don't really want her to be a tomboy either, I'd just prefer it neutral. Kinda like the way I want to be myself.
And her personality - people keep seeing her as sweet, always friendly, helpful, cheerful, because I try to act like that I suppose, but I'm often pissed, annoyed, grumpy, moody, and I never saw that side of her in other people's views on Vana Bienie, as if that side didn't exist, as if my fursona wasn't allowed to be me. You see?
I know I can't explain stuff. But main point is, I did NOT want that to happen to Freek. Because I know I would HATE it if people turned them into something they were not.
So I hid him from this account, on doodle sheets I cut out the drawings of him, just to keep him "safe". Kinda stupid, maybe? But it just meant a lot to me x) At the same time I tried to slowly puts limits on Vana Bienie, trying to keep her in character, trying to prevent misunderstandings. And well, after some time I just wanted to draw Freek because I'd like to draw them with Vana Bienie more, like I wanted it. Freek is kinda the person comforting Vana Bienie when she's alone, and only when she's alone. So Freek is like an important person to her, but Freek also represents me. They're something complicated. x)
