I probably would've enjoyed working on this.Would've.
My computer. I'm not even going to start but I think that if I had an axe right now I'd be staring at a broken screen. Reason why I didn't shade or do anything fancy to the eyes, I think I would've destroyed the computer by the time I was finished.
I don't really like how it turned out... shame, I love this character and wanted it to look great, and I loved the sketch but... yea. This not so much. But oh well, I tried. And a made a jumping animation in which the back legs actually leave the ground, in previous tries they kept being glued to the ground 'cause I didn't know when to move them and all.
The wings wobble around in the most horrible ways in the first part. Sorry. I did a very bad job at keeping that movement consistent. xP

I know a free program that you could use, even though the tools aren't that good. But it makes animation a lot easyier. Its called pencil

I know right xD FireAlpaca is another nice free program if you're looking for one. For animated stuff I recommend GIMP though!

Aww it's just adorable ! That face is so cute and I love the way the ears move :3
The anatomy is great - and don't worry about the wings ! I don't think that they are that bad and the animation is still really well done.
The paws are really nice too - and you didn't tried something easy to animate !
