I,,, have yet to come up with backstory for that. The design came with these scars, and it was because of the two sides of love (happiness and heartbreak, the blue side representing the latter) but there's no in-character reason for these scars yet!

I might try to think of a backstory for their scars, but for now they are sort of optional! They fit with the design, but I'm struggling to think with how they fit the character as I see them.
