There are artists I used to respect who had to come out and just tell off their fans. Often this involves people being oblivious to the appeal of their own art and blaming others for it.After all, maybe you shouldn't have put that fanart/furry/meme/stamp in your gallery in the first place if you were just going to get pissed off when it became your most popular piece.
It just pisses me off that people do this to those just for liking their art.

I think the developers at Volition could take a note from this stamp and actually listen to primary fans of Saints Row instead of these bandwagoners for a change.

i just get really shy and blushy when people like my art and just say "thanks but it's not that good" because usualy the person is like X1000000 better of an artist then i am XD

I completely agree with you. While on the one side, fandoms can just plain be annoying, and sometimes even dangerous. It's like any celebrity who has to withdraw with the public to avoid being mobbed and having their hair pulled out.
HOWEVER, said celebrity, whether online or offline, would not be who they are if not for the adoration of their fans. All that fame, money, whatever, wouldn't be possible without them. So no matter how you feel about your fans, you owe them respect for your success. Spitting on them is basically like spitting on your own work.

I see way too many people who do this. Fans just wanna be fans, theres no harm in that. Be thankful they even like you. Its about time there was a stamp for people like us who hate it when people treat their watchers that way.

Isn't it supposed to be a GOOD thing when you get feedback on something? Unless it's purpose was to stir controversy-but most people are aware of that fact before they hit the "submit" button.
