Adopted shortly after Maximilian of Mexico gained influence all around Mexico and establishing the "United Kingdom of Mexico", or also named the "Second Mexican Empire".
After corruption in Mexico was increasing and after many years of Pro-American dependent goverments, many mexicans thought that republicanism was subjugating and failing to them, and the idea of restoring the monarchy sounded like a good alternative to put an end to the situation. Maximilian of Habsburg had stayed in Mexico as a Noble living in the country, and despite the French invasion of Mexico failing quickly and Maximilian not being able to land on Mexican territory during the invasion, years after he showed a lot of interest on trying to come back and live a new life with his wife. During his stay in Mexico, Maximilian met many politicians and generals who quickly fell under his ideas of transforming Mexico into a honest and prosperous state that didn't necessarily had to depend on the Americans, and from this point, is where his popularity started rising, until finaly becoming Emperor of Mexico.
