I decided to draw this after I got my DVD copy of: Pokemon Lucario and the Mystery or Mew.

I'd been watching the anime almost 10 years. Pikachu always seems to be a male. It would be more affetionate towards Ash if it were a female. In the manga Pikachu was once hanging around with another Pikachu with a flower on it's head. It was a cute episode/story.
