Description This is 18" X 24", Felt-tip pen and rapidograph ink on a heavy strathmore paper, I did this back in hmmm, '73 I believe, and it represents Quetzalcoatl and King Arthur, sort of an East(Europe), meets West(The Americas), merging of beliefs.

Hmmm...one of the few times I've ever seen Quetzalcoatl depicted in modern art...looks wonderful. All the gold definitely gives a godly appearance - that look on his face helps out on that end too. This is amazing, I can't believe you made it out of ink! I'm still stuck on pencils, in a variety of colors at least. ~K

Thanks! I have some more I will be posting, did alot of them over the years, although these are probably the best of them, representing epitomes of the style for myself.

That is so sweet.
It almost looks as though it could be a photograph from a mayan cave or something.
Bah, how long did this take you, if you don't mind me askin'?

Thanks very much! Hmm, as I recall it took me some months to complete this work, many layers of felt-tip pen to apply, as well as pen and ink. It was a good thing too, for when I displayed it at a gallery, it fell off the wall and was found in the morning, floating face down in a fountain they had! It was unharmed, the coating of felt-tip pen protecting it from water!!!! Whew!!!

Holy crap.
A whole night soaked in water and it didn't run at all?!?!
I must try this special ink...
