Another request done fer the sketch trade meme~ yay!!!For , who awesomely requested Heat from AWESOME Digital Devil Saga. YESSSS.
I think I got a little carried away with this one, though, because it's sorta not a "sketch" anymore... Heat just would NOT let me stop shading. And refining. And struggling to make sense of the folds in his cape thing. Seriously-- dude was a friggin' slave driver! He even started demanding to colored, but I had to put my foot down at that point. YOU ARE TO BE IN GRAPHITE ONLY. JERKFACE. YEAH I SAID IT. NO YOU MAY NOT AGIDYNE AND/OR PUNCH ME TO DEATH. OR EAT ME.

Heh-- yuppers, went to Tyler School of Art in Philly (I'm a PA native, though I live in shitty KS now)for parts of four years, splitting time as a graphic design and painting major. Pathetically enough, I never graduated thanks to two semesters I had to drop partway for medical leave... After the second time, I just never went back.

How did you dooo theeeem. ;A; they look JUST RIGHT. especially the damn hair. His hair is so hard to draw, but you did it perfect. Great job. Also on the shadings, they really add depth to the piece.

THAT DAMN HAIR.... I think the cape frustrated me the most, but the HAIR was a close second. Thanks so much though-- I'm glad it turned out okay, because honestly, I still don't know exactly how that crazy mop of his works.
And as for muscle, I still feel pretty shaky with it and human anatomy in general. Looking back on drawings I uploaded here from four or five years ago though, I can see I've made quite a bit of progress. Because THOSE are downright embarrassing, haha!! I guess for me, it's just been practice practice practice to get to this point, as it DEFINITELY doesn't come easily.

The cape, really? It looks just right. I would've never thought you have problems with it at all!
As for the hair...I know right?! Heat...Seriously, how do you blow-dry it to make it look like that? And on top of that...Why is it impossible to draw?
...If you happen to be someone else than ~KefiWolfkitten , that is. Seriously, I envy you for it ;__; it turned out wonderful!
ooh, same here. Drawing them is already a challenge, but shading is another! It's all so damn hard. xD; sad I got into a game with such good-looking males. sigh. xD;;
