I recently saw the movie, and all I can is... awful.
First of all, to it's small amount of credit, it pays homage to the speculative fictional world of RPG sword and sorcery in it's own way. But that quickly gets boggled down by one-dimensional characters with weak sub-plots and raunchy dialogue that sound like it's desperately trying to be funny. I know it was playing off of old fantasy elements that we've gotten use to before the rise of newer fantasy stories, but that's no excuse to be lazy. The writing was cliched, the jokes seem to ride on just how perverted they could be with almost no thought put into them. And the animation was just subpar; not awful but nothing too pleasing for the eyes.
I know there are probably worst animated movies than this, but it might as well be a top contender on anyone's "Top Ten Worst" list.
At least this fan art of Zandra looks nice, even a lot better than how she was drawn in the film.
