Description GUESS WHO'S BACK WITH AN UNNATURAL HATRED FOR THEMSELF

Idk how 'back' I really am, it's been more bullshit stacked on an already large pile of bullshit for me, I've kinda just been dealing with it with the furry fandom and boose :') but it seems it's time to try and get back into this, since I genuinely did enjoy writing these, as cringey as I know they are. I hope to also get into more RPs here, I know JiroAkuma has been waiting for me to start up again with our old RP.

This is not a Horseland related thing, idk when I'll get back into the swing of things for that, we'll see. I've always liked Todd's story, blind werewolf-vampire and all, hated on both sides of his species. Boi ain't even supposed to be alive, but there the fuck he is XD He's more often than not attacked by vampires though, and this is the first we see of one coming after him.

LET'S SEE HOW RUSTY I AM AT THIS

~Le Dark Woods~

The white haired boy held on tight to his horse as he trotted through the brush, he'd tasked himself with finding one of the cows that had run off earlier that morning. It was dark out, not that he knew outside of the crickets peacefully chirping around him and his horse, it was a quiet night despite the soft sound of hooves on the ground and the loud crickets, neither Todd or Pasta figured that they where being followed. With a light tug on the reins, the pale boy stopped his horse as he 'looked' around, hearing a stream nearby, it must have been small, as he could just barely hear it.

"Let's stop for a drink," he whispered, almost scared to disturb the night air.

The roan stallion followed as his rider instructed, locating the stream for his blind rider, who gave him a gentle pat and rub on the neck before dismounting and moving to wash his hands and splash his face in the flowing water. Pasta craned his head down to drink from the stream as Todd splashed his face in the cool water, relaxing for a moment before facing his head up to the sky, he was sure it would be a full moon soon, he'd have to be careful when it was. Todd then sat back on his butt and sighed, enjoying the peace of the night, Pasta nickered and pushed his head into Todd's shoulder. He chuckled and pet the horse.

Soon after their rest was finished, Todd jumped back up in the saddle on Pasta's back, planning to find the escaped cow before the next hour was up. They started off on a slow gallop through a clearing next, then on a trail, he thought he heard something, and slowed Pasta to a walk, it didn't sound like the cow he was looking for, it didn't sound very human at all, and his usually very calm steed was getting nervous of his surroundings. It suddenly became dead silent, the crickets stopped chirping, nothing could be heard, not even the wind in the trees made a sound. Just as Todd was about to vacate the area, something loud and heavy dropped from a tree behind them, both the boys became so startled that they didn't think.

Pasta reared, throwing the vampire-werewolf hybrid flat on his back and knocking the air out of his lungs as Pasta bolted away, leaving Todd there with the unknown thing that fell from the tree. Todd scrambled back until he was up against a tree, frantically looking around for what spooked him and his horse, he'd never needed to fight before, so his powers where useless. His blind eyes started to pick up on a dark aura walk up to him, he watched as the figure stood in front of him, he couldn't see it, but he knew the figure was grinning.

"I've found you at last, freak," the figure said. Male voice, deep and intimidating, mean spirited to the sound of it, "you where quite hard to locate, child, but now your unnatural life ends!" He said, reaching down to grab Todd but the neck.

Todd barely dodged the grab, "Pasta!" he yelled as he stood up, hearing the male figure's hand crash into the tree. The male hissed, and it was then that Todd could smell it, a smell similar to his mothers, but different, harsher on the nose. This figure was a male vampire, he was out to kill Todd for being half vampire and half werewolf. Todd could not see, all he could do was try to hear and feel his way away from the attacking vampire while calling for his horse, the attacker let Todd scramble away, chuckling as he watched the frightened half-bred try to escape him.

"I thought you'd be much harder to kill, or you'd at least put up a fight, did mommy and daddy not teach you anything, freak?" the male taunted, just enough to stir some anger in the frightened boy, who turned to him.

"No one thought I'd need it! I always had someone around to look after me!" he yelled, now fully realizing that he sounds weak, he never thought he'd be so dependent on others.

His pale attacker laughed and grabbed Todd by the throat, "you're alone, child," he said, right in Todd's face as he hunched over and gripped him tighter.

Todd was almost scared to stillness, only able to yell out his horse's name again as his attacker was about to deliver the first and final blow to his 'prey', as his arm reeled back for it, a loud, angry whinny was heard, and within seconds, Pasta was back with his rider, nearly running the attacking vampire and Todd over. The vampire dropped Todd and jumped back just in time to not be trampled, but this left Todd out of breath again, but he sat up as quickly as he could, he watched for a moment as Pasta stomped his hoof on the dirt and paced between Todd and the vampire, obviously challenging the one who dared come after his rider.

"You think a weak creature like this will stop me, child?" the vampire asked, the grin back in his voice.

It was in this moment as the vampire was getting ready to attack that Todd remembered a riding trick Wahya had explained to him, she'd call Moon, and the hulking beast of a stallion would run full speed at her, almost like a circus trick, he'd run just to the side of her and she'd catch her arm on his neck and swing herself up onto his back. She said it worked best bareback, but could be done in a saddle if one was careful. Todd sighed, knowing that if he and Pasta where going to get away, he'd have to copy her riding trick.

"Pasta! Come!" He yelled, the stallion turned to face Todd as the vampire ran at the horse, "PASTA NOW!" Todd yelled, having hardly ever yelled at his stallion, Pasta didn't take another second. With more urgency than the stallion ever felt, he ran at his rider, it taking a second to realize he and Todd where having to do what he'd seen Moon Dance and Wahya do so many times for fun. Pasta ran slightly to the side of Todd, he whinnied just before he was close enough to Todd, letting the boy know to get ready. It wasn't a perfect jump up, but it was enough for Todd to grab on and Pasta to run.

Todd was sure he'd hurt himself, but the adrenaline from the night kept him from feeling any pain as he held on tight to the running horse, they both could still hear the vampire behind them, Todd did his best to sit himself correctly in the saddle, but at this point all he could do was hang on as Pasta raced back to the stables. The vampire on their heels the whole way, it was only once Todd and Pasta got within eye sight of the stables that the vampire stopped following, he stood in the treeline and watched as the roan horse jumped the fence into the cattle paddock, then jump again out of the paddock and to the house. He watched as the other riders came out and grabbed the boy off his horse to carry him inside, how the dogs sniffed around, how the brown haired rider turned to face him in the trees, her red eyes angry and glowing before she turned to take the tired horse to the barn for untacking and rest. He grinned at the sight.

"This might actually be fun," he spoke to himself before turning and walking into the dark of the forest.

~End~

HAVE A STORY THAT I WORKED TWO DAYS ON

YOU PROUD YET?

Yes I did try to make this as cool as possible, but you can only make a story about a horseback riding werewolf-vampire mix being hunted by a full blood vampire with some bullshit horse stables tossed in so cool. This is what we get for now.

All characters belong to me.
