Description There are people that think that because there is not a definitive gay gene, homosexuality is down to choice. Well, there is no definitive gene that says "oh little Jimmy's going to be gay", but genetics play a role (there are some environmental factors that manifest in very very early life)

Here are some studies:

Scientists are able to guess a persons sexuality with 70% accuracy using genetics

Enviromental factors also exist which influence homosexuality

I read somewhere they think it could also be caused by hormones people are exposed to before they're born.

When it comes to sexuality, it's developed overtime.
You have interactions with both sexes, and overtime,
you get an attraction to one or both of the sexes.

that's why electroshock therapy doesn't work in "curing"
homosexuality, as it's not something that can easily be changed,
as it's not a choice, but rather how they live life

I wouldn't say that it develops over time. It's something that manifests in childhood. You just have to find your sexuality through experience.

And yeah, that's very true! You can't sure homosexuality no matter what.

That what i was meaning.
You don't exactly know what your preference is straight away,
but later in life, you might
