thanks. I am always a little nervous when I ink, but it ends up looking better, even if I did mess up

This is really cool! What exactly is ink wash?

I am not exactly sure what it is. THis is my best guess though and the way I did this deadpool piece. basically use you a bottle of ink and brushes. Then you dip the brush in the ink and then dip it in the water and then kind of 'wash' it on to the paper. It is kind of like watercolor but with ink. The other method I tried was using 1 brush to paint the lines, then get another brush with water and smudge the inked lines before they have a chance to dry. Something like that anyways. It is basically getting really messy with brushes and ink.

Nice job - I've never tried ink washing before.. though it looked like something I'd have fun with. I'll need a work area too, before actually doing it though. XD

Yeah, it gets a bit messy with ink splashes, but super fun.

I've never tried ink washes before. I imagine they're sort of like watercolor washes? Anyway, I really like his pose, especially the arms. I haven't heard of Deadpool before. Thank god for Wikipedia.

actually the way I did it it wasn't like water colors. basically i put ink down and then 'washed' it away with a wet brush (water) before it dried. kinda close, but not exact. since I am using waterproof ink i had to act quick.taking 2 seconds or 5 seconds between applying the wet brush had a big difference. any longer and the ink would already be dry.
