Description I will update this with a newer version soon.

Another stage with medieval-esque theme, this time, an interior. We Hungarians say that no village should exist without an inn. Applying the rule to the village I recently made , this is what we get. A place for hunters, warriors, traders and travellers - and of course, maids and bards.

I originally wanted this to be the medieval version of the 100 Rads bar . Then I thought that a central fire pit would look cool. For that, I had to rearrange the tables, but it didn't look good in any configuration. I decided to extend the room, which gave me too much space to fill. That's when the central supports were put in place, separating the room in an unobtrusive way. The benches, stools and other decorative items were added later. In the end I got an interior that looked completely different, but I think it's a good thing.

Most of the design elements came from my own imagination, except the fire pit and the horn chandelier and fixtures, the idea of those were borrowed from Skyrim's inns.

The models in the picture are the Lost Horseman and Leona with her kantele .

How to use:
The stage is dull and grayish in colour on purpose. It makes light systems more effective, but also makes them mandatory. The best effect to use is my enhanced version of the Half-Lambert shaders, which can be downloaded here: fav.me/d7tkbes
Enable self-shadows for the stage, apply the effect on it, load a PointLight#.x file, and set up the light as you like. It is a good idea to disable ground shadows in the View menu.

All items were modeled and placed by hand. The textures aren't from Skyrim. Some are from various sources on the internet, and some are from a Skyrim texture mod, all in the Public Domain.

I rendered some sphere maps in 3dsmax. Some textures and smooth-groups changed in the conversion. Each candle/horn/pit/pot is a shadow-casting light source and it has some of 3dsmax's crappy basic global illumination:

might look better with more contrast and less brightness, i leave that to you "in post".

Drunken fight, large happy gathering, maybe a wedding....

"They raise their wooden pints and they yoik and sing, and they fight and dance till the morning"
Good ideas, but I don't think it would work for the wedding. Maybe for the wedding night cause I'm making a bedroom interior next. I don't think I'll make a church, it's supposed to be a pagan village, I'll see what I can do.
I support the drunken fight though.
