Surprise and happy 18th birthday, Tangerine!

I thought your border collie needed another appearance, a full one this time, so here she is. I hope you like it.^^

P.S. I know it's still summer, but autumn maples are so pretty! Besides, it needed some red in that sea of green.^^
The grass even came out decent for once. Yahoo!

Dang those eyes - the grab your attention and dont let go! Absolutely beautifully intensity there - the pose, composition and all round feel of the picture is wonderfull, but the face itself could easily be mistaken for a photo ^^
I also love how the front end of the collie is much clearer and more vibrant than the back end as it fades into the background and out of the main area of focus - it gives the whole image real depth, along with the maple trees (I happen to be a rather large fan of autum maples myself XD)

A perfect expression runs through the whole body (she looks ready for adventure!), and the beautiful lighting, the vibrant feeling you captured, and even the title are just perfect. You suited everything to me so very thoroughly that I’m in awe. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you; thank you! : ) This idea and every one you considered are so thoughtful. Wanderer is such a caring, mindful person and a faithful friend, and she puts so much thought into what she does. She knows I love maple trees, specifically in the autumn, and specifically red and orange ones. She knows I love border collies (of course : ) ), and I expect she had a hunch that I would love a title like “Through the Mist”. : ) I can’t thank her enough.
