Description
[1] today i waited and waited and waited, and you never said anything beautiful at all.[2] today i clicked 'i'm feeling lucky' on google. the screen went blank except for two words - are you?
[3] today i saw a man planting daffodils beside the highway. i asked why. he told me yellow was the color of happiness.
[4] today an old woman patted my cheek with a wrinkly hand and told me everything was going to be all right, after all.
[5] today a boy i see everyday on the ten-fifteen bus to central station told me i had beautiful eyes.
[6] today i wrote 'i love you' in twentysix languages, each somewhere in the city. i didn't want to exclude anyone.
[7] today i fell down the stairs. I scraped my knee, but i was okay.
[8] today when it started to rain, i went puddlejumping with some fiveyearolds. they didn't mind.
[9] today i ran up a down escalator. security made me leave, but it was worth it.
[10] today i waited and waited and waited, and turns out, sometimes you don't have to say anything at all.

I love all of the little moments of beautiful that you wove into this, without it feeling completely forced. And your language was lovely- it's simple, but it just makes your message that much stronger. Love your writing so much. The only thing is that some of your words get smooshed together, but it doesn't really affect how good this is

Pretty. You said beautiful twice--at 1 and 5. Was that intentional? I only ask because I try to avoid repeating the same word like that unless I mean to, but sometimes it just slips out, so I was wondering which one that particular one was...

This little piece of prose is touching something inside... The words "are you?" in the second line made me stop. A little shiver. Then read on. I´m not quite sure if you were happy or not... It´s bittersweet.
