For Doxiie
If there's anything wrong, let me know so I can fix it! I can also send you a flatcolored version upon request.

This was done as a trial commission for my friend Dottie! I don't have commissions opened, but I would like to open a few slots and try it out! Headshots would be something I'd offer, along with fullbodies and chibis. Not sure how much to offer. What do you guys think? Any input would be most appreciated!

Oh hey and about your commission prices, here's what I think:

Headshots: 30-60 points (+extra for shading)

Chibis: 40-100 points (+extra for shading)

Fullbodies: 50-120 points (+extra for shading)

Full Pictures: 100-300 points (probably just add shading for free if you charge over 200 points)

It's honestly very low prices (but this is Deviantart where people think a point is equivalent to a dollar and they don't realize art is a luxury that not everyone can afford and considering your not a famous Youtuber yet and you barely have a hundred watchers you'd honesty be lucky to get even that much), but as you gain more watchers and popularity you could probably start raising your prices to be more realistic.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH thank you so much dottie!

YUPP. I would totally love to start at higher prices, like 1000 points for a fullbody ($15), but people just don't get how cheap points really are. 100 points is just barely a dollar! i would also totally love to have everything done through paypal, and get paid with usd, but not everyone has a paypal here. Sigh. But you're right, its better to start out small and raise your prices as demand rises. besides, im just a kid here, not depending on art to pay bills and such. I can wait ^^

You're welcome

I know right, my commissions are extremely cheap and I rarely get commissioned as it is (and usually the only time I ever get commissioned is when it's really, really cheap like five or ten points).

Actually, if you put a commission widget on your profile, people can pay with points and you can convert it to real money (though I'm not entirely sure how it works) and I hear people are losing all their points recently (I assume they are doing something where it looks like they are "cashing out" their points because I haven't been affected at all by that and I've never turned points into real money on DA).

It's a good idea to accept points as well as paypal, because a lot of people (including myself) only use points, though I have seen comments where people want to pay with real money because they don't have any points so it's a good idea to not only accept points too if you can.

OH MY GOD AHHH THANK YOU SO MUCH DOTTIE >w<
I just figured this was the perfect way to depict your fursona, it seemed so right and natural, and im ever so glad that you liked it.
YES LORD MHH YES CARTOONS OVER REALISM ANY DAY!! Dont get me wrong, knowing how to do realism is soooo important, but if thats all u know, than mmmmm boy u better start workin on that, cuz art is an individual, expressive thing, and its so awesome having your own style to express it in

ya know i was a bit scared before posting this and honestly im still scared at the idea of doing commissions "ahh wut if dey don lik mah arttttt???" but ya know i think you've convinced me, and im gonna give an honest attempt at opening up some commissions this summer!

AHHHHHHH NO PROBLEM : D
YES, IT'S THE PERFECT WAY TO DEPICT THEM :0
Oh yes, realism and an individual cartoonish drawing style are two completely separate things, realism is drawing something that's already there and you might as well go do photography if that's all you care about and a cartoon is drawing something that literally does not exist anywhere in the real world and creating things from your imagination by distorting proportions and stuff of real things and stuff like that because in realism you know where to put all the lines but cartoon you have to figure that out and I feel like I'm rambling on to a point that doesn't really make sense but I've typed so much about whatever I was trying to say already that I feel that I've dedicated something to it and there is no point backing out now I guess oh well.

Oh yeah, I get what you mean, the first time I posted my art online (which was on sandbox) I was nervous and literally the entire description was "do you think this is good or not just so I can get an idea of how good my art is" and to be honest I had so much experience from years of drawing already that even without that boost people get from posting art online and going from complete beginner to an expert level within a month (I've seen it, no joke, like from can't color sloppy line art to drawing so well it looks like a professional artist with only a short period of time between) I'm sorry I got off topic but I mean my art wasn't really that bad and I was still scared to post it so I can understand why you are so worried about selling your art for the first time like just do it and see what happens.
