My major issue with my art work is color scheme, i really hate to color thing in. do you scan your drawing and try multiple colors?

Same old stuff that is everywhere these days, I won't be impressed until someone comes up with armor designs that are both practical and unique. I wish the people who are lucky enough to be in the game industry would focus less on how "awesome" or "sexual" the armor looks and more on the game-play, environment, characters and story.

While it is very well done, I have to agree. This looks like the other 50 MMO class styles out there lately.

exactly my thoughts, the artwork is very nice, but the design is not original -_-

Awesome, I like this very much. The clothes are wonderful - I especially like the first girl, because she wears my colours and has a style. And I really appreciate that those girls are "dressed". You show here that fantasy women can look like women even if their "armour" isn't bikini - though I guess that exposed cleavage (and heart) is a huge weakness in the armour.
But I'd make the guys wider in the middle. They look a bit like hourglass - and that's more like a female type of figure. These guys have their shoulders more muscular than the rest.

Nice drawing with fantastic style! just wondered something, more on the design side of things, why would some as heavily armoured as 2nd from right leave a piece of skin bare to show off her clevage? Seems like a design fault if she was going for protection!

I agree. The first, second, and fourth characters would get killed really, really easily. All they need is a blow to the chest and they're dead. It's not a very utilitarian design.

For the same reason a lot of fantasy armour has spikes that would force weapons to impact vital points rather than deflect blows, and why identifiable characters usually don't wear headgear - defense is based on how cool you look, and in fantasy-land, everything is magic.
I personally make a point of avoiding games where mechanics and the lore and visual design don't work together since I just end up being annoyed/having my immersion destroyed rather than enjoying the gameplay ("What the hell? She's not wearing anything but a thong, why am I doing ~20% damage?!"), so I usually don't play games with designs like this (I probably would if the game was marketed for silly-armor-justifying lore, but I've never seen that).
Maybe one day more designers (I wonder how much of the trend is to blame on individual concept artists, versus art directors?) will realise that reasonable armour can look cool and sexy too, and that people do appreciate it. And if sex doesn't sell in ads, maybe that's true for in-game content too (it's apparently true for films ).
That said, unreasonable armour all around aside, these are very well-painted and interesting-looking designs (and visual interest goes a long way), and I'd love to learn more about whatever class(es) the two on the sides are.
And I apologise for the rant.

Great links, thanks for sharing. I agree, I hope that we can find a balance between what is appealing to an audience and what appears to have functionality for the character, at least 'based' on realism for believability. It's a good note for all of us to step up a bit and argue for less revealing design that play into stereotypes.
I'm with you, these are well-painted, wands96 is a solid concept artist. Nice work.

That's always the thing with female heavy armor classes. The less you wear the more protection you've got. :')
Widely known by all gamers.
