He will always be one of my favorite characters I've ever read about. I'm so glad that you finished his story and not leave it unfinished. If I could I would love a physical book of his entire story, just so I can read it without needing the internet.

Thank you for the kind words. I've been meaning to get around to editing the story but it's a big project and I've been doing other things. I'd like to at least expand the first chapter. It's too vague, even as told by a guy who had no clue what was going on during his early life.
As for publication as a book, I'm concerned about becoming a target for Disney's lawyers for the chapter set within a certain theme park. (I did that after reading an old Clive Cussler novel in which the story's climax took place within the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland.)
One of my longtime goals was to finish illustrating each chapter, which I only did through 26 or 27 (out of 42 plus epilogue...) I fiddled with Tayle's character design enough during the course of writing that I should probably redo all of the illustrations in a more consistent style.

Basically, yes. Sold as the "Pickup" in the US before the Tacoma came out in the mid-'90s.

Then the hilux was scrapped in the states, right?

I think you could get a Hilux in the states back in the '70s, then it was renamed Truck, then renamed Pickup, and finally replaced with the Tacoma in 1995.
The Hilux is still sold in the rest of the world as far as I know, it's just a different vehicle from what we get in North America.

Or I faked it convincingly enough. Some of my friends with actual knowledge of guns like to tease me because I'm the guy identifying all the cars in animated films and video games, and they're the ones identifying all the weapons.

I'm wondering, was this a older version of Fox, or Fox in long pants?

It's both. Fox rarely wears long pants because they don't fit him too well. It's also very old art from when I had just started the story.

You know, I would say "He's cute" but it feels like that would destroy all the badassery that you gave him.
In other words, he's above cute yet still I want to hug him 
It's sad, I wish he was raised so he could have had a childhood, had parental love.

If you ever decide to make your Fox Tayle story into a movie, I personally think that this would be perfect as his theme song:

I just listened to that song for the first time, and I do think it fits the mood of Fox Tayle's story, especially the earlier chapters.
