I really enjoyed the narration of Ys Origin, with a few cutscenes and short dialogues Nihon Falcom manages to establish some great characters.
Compared to the other titles in the Ys series, I noticed a more melancholy tone in this game both in the dialogue and in the graphic style.
The characters and the gameplay are so well done that it didn't matter to me to play the same game three times (with some difference), the only flaw was that I played first what was my favorite gameplay, the Hugo's one.
I loved the story of Hugo and Epona, the writers were really good at building it with so little dialogue.
