Yup it's a photo and I agree it is bizarre looking lol .It's called a Gharial. I guess you could say it's a type of crocodile. The only difference is the snout which is kinda narrow and they eat only fish and don't attack large living things (cause their jaws are too fragile I guess you could say). They're also really endangered too.
