Does this make anyone else think of sitting at home making mixtapes for hours I still have a bunch and still do it sometimes just so I can remember that feeling rushing to the record button as your favorite song comes on the radio it is such a rush

grab a pen, stick the end in the wheel, then turn it fast while its up in the air
next, be sure that after your near the end, even out the tape with another pen and turn the other one to even out and pull in the tape.
I still have a collection of those.

This reminds me of a story my mom tells about when she was in medical school. She went to a brain surgery (as some lackey/observer) and they took out some part of somebody's brain momentarily and put it in a little dish. She looked at the person next to her and was like--"What are they gonna label that? '5th grade memories'?"

I even remember the whooshing sound and the pop kinda noise before it goes all quiet and the player clicks, meaning it's time to take it out and flip to play the other side.
Hell, with digital music now, even CDs have mostly gone the way of these thigns.
