So yea, this is my piece for *Takanahara 's contest, "The subject is your favorite RP character that you use in your favorite RP Chatroom." So obviously, I'm going to use Darth Imogen/Thridi Montross whom I RP with in #JediOrder . Yes, I know... I'm an uber nerd who is clearly obsessed with flames and hellish things. Everyone's got their vice.

Anyways, I'm not fully satisfied with the end result. The Sky/Background I fear takes away from the main subject. And the Foreground is some what tolerable to me. I probably should have blurred the planets out or added more color to them... but I tried it and it really looked like poop on a stick. So I said fuck it and declared this piece finished.

But I will admit, in my opinion, I pulled off some really good details on the main subject rather well. My favorite detail would be the glow on the blaster handle. I look at it and tremble. If you all haven't noticed, I left the image to where you can full view without a watermark. This is for the judges to get a better look at the details that are riddled behind the flames, and well because I feel comfortable doing so.

I had fun working on Imogen again, she's always fun with her beastly attitude and anti-feminine ways, lol. I am happy with this rendition of the character, which ironically enough was drawn almost a year ago. Well before I had Thridi turn Sith Lord in the chatroom.

As always, I have to give mad props and shout outs to deviants who helped make this piece a reality: *concept-on-mac , *redheadstock , ~Qzma , =Falln-Stock and ~Rabieshund for wonderful brushes. Also to *Vlademareous , who made an awesome tutorial and brush pack, they were a great help on the flames! Lastly, to the artists at LucasArts, particularly on The Force Unleashed, it inspired me to draw Darth Imogen/Thridi Montross in such a dynamic way. The lightsaber reversed grip is really cool.

Lines Sketched with Ticonderoga HB2, Inked with ZIG Millennium 05 and 01, and then brought into Illustrator CS4 for livetrace.
Colors all done in Photoshop CS4 with a Wacom Graphire 4 tablet and mouse.

I don't know the time to be honest. It took a long time to finish since I was off and on this piece for close to a year.
